New Marketing LabsChris Brogan, from www.chrisbrogan.com, has a great article on “5 Things Small Business Owners Should do Today Online” over at the New Marketing Labs website.  Chris, who is a social media and community expert, talks about how small businesses can start using social media to increase their visibility, and revenues, with just a few simple online tools.  The part I like best is his suggestion of getting out of the “analysis/paralysis” mindset and to just start in with some very simple strategies.

This article is very much in line with my philosophy of “simple is better” when marketing your local business, especially when it comes to online tactics.  Putting up a blog and starting to collect email addresses and interacting with your community can go a long way of not only driving new business today, but also positioning your business for success in the future.

Check out the article and let me know what you think.
