Portfolio

Here are some examples of web sites I’ve developed, all of which use WordPress as a basic Content Management System (CMS).  A CMS allows anybody to log into the web site and make changes by simply typing information into a form.  The CMS does all of the design, posting, and other work for you so you don’t need to learn about things like HTML, FTP, Javascript, or AJAX.

PLEASE NOTE: Clicking the site name link on the left will bring up a pop-up with the full web site.  Clicking the image will bring up a static image of the home page.

CENTURY 21 Nashoba Associates

I redesigned the website for this real estate agency in Pepperell, MA based on WordPress so that it was easier to update and navigate, and performed much better in the search engines for their primary keywords.  The blogging system allows them to share news and also feature properties for sale. This site is now #1 in Google for their primary keyword phrase – “realtor pepperell, ma.”

Cape Cod Trivets

A friend of mine wanted a website for their new business, which sells wooden plant stands for indoor or outdoor use.  They didn’t have a lot of money, and they were really just looking for a website that would allow them to have a presence on the Internet.  This site was created in a few hours, and does a nice job of showing off their unique plant stands.

NashobaValleyNashobaValley.com

I created NashobaValley.com after being frustrated with the information resources available for events, news, and local businesses in my area.  Originally created by programmers, NashobaValley.com is now based on the WordPress software solution.

Angel Children BooksAngelChildrenBooks.com

Gretchen Archambault came to me looking for an easy-to-use website to promote her new childrens book.  The site is simple, colorful, and something that Gretchen can update with book reading information and other news on her own.

.

MumblefishBandMumblefishBand.com

This is a web site for a local band from Pepperell called Mumblefish.  The idea was to get a web site up that would allow the band’s music, videos, and photos to be displayed along with their upcoming gigs and any other fun information they wanted to share with fans.

.

Pepperell Music CenterPepperellMusicCenter.com

This web site is the business site for our local music center (where my son and I take guitar lessons!).  The owner wanted something a little more up-to-date than their existing web site, and also wanted to be able to update it himself without programming. This site was recently updated for a fresher look.

DesignBuildRealtyCorpDesignBuildRealtyCorp.com

This is a site I built for a local custom home builder from the Pepperell area.  Steve wanted to have a site where he could showcase his custom built homes and also wanted to make sure his site was available on the Internet when people searched.

.

NorthMiddlexexFootballNorthMiddlesexFootball.com

The local high school football coach wanted to get the school’s alumni involved with the current team.  The web site is a way to communicate with alumni and also post scores, schedules, photos and videos of current and past football teams.

QuiltingBusinessQuiltingBusiness.com

This is a web site where I sell books on how to start and run your own quilting business.  The site sells information products (through links to my ebooks) and also offers advice for quilters on how to turn their passion for quilting into a business.
